One of the best football matches ever was played yesterday on Old Trafford. Manchester United beat Roma whole 7-1! It was a completely amazing match. United went totaly goal-crazy and played brilliant football from start to end. After a tough first match away aginst Roma (1-2) there where no doubt in the return. Michael Carrick (2), Alan Smith, Wayne Rooney, “man of the match” Christiano Ronaldo (2) and Patrice Evra scored the goals. Fantastic, one of the greatest games I have ever seen. This could end in a Champions League final. Hopefully!
Things are looking quite promising for Bodø/Glimt before the new season. This weekend Mjølner was beaten 10-1 in a training match on Aspmyra. The new brazilian striker Thiago Martins scored five goals. He can hopefully be a new high class topscorer for Glimt. But this was only training…and against a 2. division team. The important matches in Adeccoligaen begins 9.th April. It will be exciting to follow Glimt on their way to Tippeligaen 2008
This weekend I went to see the qualification match for Euro 2008 between Norway and Bosnia on Ullevaal. It was a dramatic game that ended in a very disappointing 2-1 loss for Norway. But the real action was off the pitch, when bosnian fans started throwing bengal lights into the field. The match was stopped for half an hour while firemen and police handled the situation. You can among other see one “exclusive” picture from this drama below
Yet another perfect match by Manchester United this weekend. 4-1 against Bolton was fantastic, and the goals were brilliant. Especially goal number two with great teamwork between Ronaldo and Rooney. Check it out:
Could this be a new fantastic season for Manchester Utd? In 1998/99 the red devils won the treble; Premier league, The Fa-cup and Champions league. Things are looking really good now. Last night Henrik Larsson scored the winning goal against Lille sending United to the CL-quarter final. This was “Henkes” last match on Old Trafford. He’s been a important contributor so far and will be missed. The most fantastic result for United this week was agaist Liverpool. One minute on overtime, 1-0 by John O’Shea!! Incredibly good :D
Manchester United keeps on playing very good. The last two matches have resulted in two great big victories, 4-0 against Watford and best of all 4-0 away against Tottenham. This is looking very very promising,a new league gold is in sight!! :D
Manchester United are in a fantastic form. Ten games in a row without loss is excellent! Tonights match against Everton ended with a 3-0 victory. The giant match against Chelsea on Sunday was also very good. The red devils deserved to win, but the big battle ended 1-1. I think things are looking very promising. This could be a season that ends with Premier League gold for Man U!
Here’s a video of Louis Saha’s beautiful goal against Chelski:
My favourite team Bodø/Glimt did not manage to qualify for next years “Tippeliga”. That means one more year in “Adeccoligaen”, 1st division. It’s sad, but they have’nt been good enough through the season, that’s just the way it is. Last match aginst Moss ended 5-5!! With that result Glimt ended on a fifth place. They have lost as much as nine matches this season. That’s way to many. Well, well…we just have to keep the faith and hope that they will impove next year, and maybe play among the best teams in Norway in 2008. Here’s a video with some nice Glimt goals from “Adeccoligaen” 2006:
Wayne Rooney and the red devils played a fantastic match away against Bolton this weekend. Rooney scored 3 goals and Ronaldo one in the crushing 4-0 victory. That means United are still number one!! Bodø/Glimt played 0-0 againt Sogndal today, and still have a tiny little chance to get the qualification spot. Last match is home against Moss next weekend. Fingers crossed for Glimt.
Manchester United continues their good form, and won a convincing 2-0 against Liverpool this weekend. My faves are on top of the table after 9 matches. It looks very (with one r.. ) promising! The situation is different for Bodø/Glimt. The extremely important game against Aalesund on Aspmyra ended in a 2-0 loss. That means, it will most likely not be “Tippeligaen” next year either for the yellow ones. But theres still 6 points to fight for, and with a big portion luck they could get the qualification spot.
