Check out wikipedias verry good article about Bodø, my hometown. You might want to visit this fine city in the summer ![]()

Yet another fine weekend in May is over. It’s been finals in different tv-shows, the norwegian Idol and Eurovision Song Contest. Aleksander Denstad With became the winner of Idol, he was not my favourite. Well, well, nothing more to say about that. The Eurovision Song Contest (Grand Prix) was surprisingly won by the crazy monster-rock band from Finland, quite funny. There’s also been played football this weekend, Bodø/Glimt managed a draw 2-2 away against Bryne. Good teamspirit for once. My personal current status at this moment is mostly relaxing, but some work now and then. I’ve been on two different construction places lately. It brings in some money, beyond that it’s a crappy job ![]()

It’s just one month left to the World Cup 2006 in Germany! I’m verry much looking forward to the championship, it will be a joy to see so much fantastic high-quality football. I hope England can make it all the way, but my favourites are Brazil.

Manchester United had to win today to get the second place in the Premier League. And the red devils managed to win, 4-0 against Charlton was a fine finish to the season. Second place is one place better than last year, next year their back on the top! It’s been a better season than last year, but things can still be improved. Some new players like Lyons Diarra and the argentine midfield magician Riquelme would have been excellent. I’m a bit concerned that Ruud Van Nistelrooy will leave the club, but hopefully that will not happen. If so, it will weak the team. In any case it will be exciting to see what happens next season. Well, well, enough english football for this time. Bodø/Glimt won their third match at home in Nordlandshallen against Follo today. It was no convincing match, but 3-2 means their on a fifth place, 6 points behind Aalesund.

Jack Bauer and his gang is back in the fifth season of “24″. It looks to be another great season with lots of high speed action and drama, twist and turns, conspiracy and terrorism. Tune in on tv2 thursdays 21.40 P.M.

This has been a miserable football weekend. Manchester United lost 3-0 against Chelsea on Saturday. Apart from their crushing defeat Wayne Rooney got seriously injured, a big loss for United and (probably) England in the upcoming world cup. But most disappointing was Bodø/Glimt’s loss against Hønefoss yesterday. It ended 3-1, another verry weak match away from home by Glimt.
